Bicycle helmets that look like a cap. For times when you’re cycling around the neighbourhood and don’t wanna look like a biker.

It’s East Coast Park! Unbelievable, isn’t it? This bowl is scary deep and impossible to climb out of unless on a bike with momentum. Definitely not for the faint-hearted, and not a good idea not to have your protective gear on.

We set off at 6am today for a ride and brought along knives and tupperware… cos it’s the durian season and time to make a harvest! The thumping sound of falling durians really gets one excited.

Tips from the seasoned uncles, who were surprisingly friendly and non-territorial:
- durians fall at night around 11pm to midnight, and 9-10am in the morning
- the freshest, just fallen durians would have a slightly damp stem removed from its parent stem.
- those with its parent stem still intact were probably fallen due to the wind, or the monkeys – so they might still be unripe
- when picking durians, don’t eat durians or you’ll be immune to its smell and find it difficult to sniff them out

I don’t live in the United States so I’m not eligible for this contest, but I love it so I’m just gonna post this. Can you imagine my dog Cookie sitting in the bucket and us cycling down the countryside? Hah, no… But I can dream.

Jon woke me up early this morning – well, he usually does and I usually try to ignore him for a while… But this morning, he reaallly woke me up with a voice of urgency and kept telling me that I have to see something.
It was a red Flying Pigeon on sale! We texted the seller immediately, and made sure we were the first to meet him to seal the deal. I haven’t decided what I’m gonna use this bike for – perhaps just nearby to Simpang Bedok, East Coast or around the area, but I love it so.

26″ metallic red, steel frame, singlespeed with rod brakes and elephant dynamo headlights

These dynamo headlights are powered by the kinetic power of the front wheel!

All it needs now is a basket of sorts at the rear
